It is with great regret that the Band announces the resignation, as Conductor, of Liam Crawford who is retiring for personal reasons. We thank him for his encouragement for many years and the guidance of  many individuals on the correct path of musicianship. We hope he fares well in the future and look forward to seeing him  on occasion at a the band rehearsal..

FORTHCOMING:      Sunday: 17 December 2017 :Christmas Concert and get-together.

                                       Sunday: 7 January 2018: Recommence rehearsals.

                                       Sunday: 14 January 2018: Annual General Meeting at 0945 hours.

As there are a few venues to perform next year may I ask members to indicate on the notice board whether or not they are available.

The Christmas Concert and get-together will take place on Sunday 17 December 2017, with the Concert starting at 9:45 am followed by the get-together. The food arrangement will be the same as last year with individual members contributing. A list will be posted, if members would indicate what type of food they would provide. Alison Wootton has volunteered to take charge once again. Members are again reminded that they can invite friends and relations.

We have places for  oboe, bassoon, clarinet.

Euphonium (Bass clef reader preferred, but can accommodate Treble Clef reader)
Tuba (Bass clef reader preferred, but can accommodate Treble Clef reader) Instrument available on loan.
Anyone interested including young persons (band approved for teaching).
